Chamber Benefits
Membership in the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce has
many benefits:
Businesses are noted as Chamber members in the Chamber directory on
our website, historicbrownsville.com. They are also given the option to add additional information, such as a fax number, email, web site, summary, business owner names, logo and photo.
- Business education and training
The Brownsville
Chamber offers members free or discounted training opportunities in town or through neighboring chambers. Watch the "Training Opportunities" for details.
- Special Marketing Promotions
Chamber members
have opportunities to participate in special marketing promotions.
Example: In 2009, the Chamber became a part of the Visit Linn Coalition and created a map of East Linn County to be handed out in the involved communities. In its first edition 20,000 were printed.
At monthly
meetings and special Chamber events, members share ideas, business
leads, coordinate activities, learn about special opportunities
and listen to featured speakers. We help each other succeed.
Member business
promotional material is displayed at the Chamber Welcome Center
in the Linn County Historical Museum. Volunteer staff
field inquiries about Brownsville businesses via a dedicated
phone line.
- Statewide Welcome Centers
The Chamber participates
in distributing promotional materials to all statewide Welcome
Centers managed by Travel Oregon. Welcome Centers are
located at key gateways into Oregon: Ashland, Portland, Oregon
City, Ontario, Brookings, Astoria, Umatilla, Klamath Falls and Portland Airport.
