The Brownsville Co-op operates a farmers market every saturday morning from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm during the growing season from April 19th to October 25th. The market is located at the vacant lot at the corner of N. Main and Park streets. There you will find fresh produce, most of which is coming from local producers. The first market season was in 2006 and was very popular. The 2008 season promises to offer a bounty of healthy food for the community.
