Calapooia Food Alliance

The Calapooia Food Alliance is a nonprofit organization that works to encourage healthy living and eating while promoting sustainability and community. They run the Community Garden where you can rent a plot to grow your own food or you can volunteer to help grow food for the Sharing Hands Food Bank. They also organize the weekly Farmers Market in downtown Brownsville every Thursday afternoon from May to October. Shop booths from local farmers and crafters and get a better understanding of where your food comes from. Join the CFA or support their efforts by shopping the Farmers Market or renting a growing plot. And of course, donations are always appreciated. Together we can live better and be healthier.
